Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a qualified Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a full time position.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment

  • Repair and adjust equipment, machines, and defective components, replacing worn parts.

  • Prepare and maintain records detailing tests, repairs, and maintenance.

  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, and performs other maintenance actions, following checklists. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.  

Requirements

Must have the following skills:

  • Must have knowledge of basic machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

  • Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel in order to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and to determine optimum equipment functioning.

  • Reassemble and test equipment after repairs.

  • Prepare and maintain records detailing tests, repairs, and maintenance.

  • Dismantle machines or equipment, using hand tools and power tools, in order to examine parts for defects and replace defective parts where needed.

  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

  • Keep work area clean during the shift.

  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds or apply at least 45 pounds of torque pressure.

  • Ability to work with others in a group or team.

  • Required experience: Maintenance in Mfg./ Industrial Environment: 3 years

Required Education

High school or equivalent
